Praise and Reward

At Prendergast Ladywell School we believe that our students should be praised and rewarded for excellent conduct and working together as a community to succeed.

Students will be rewarded through the PLS CARES Points system for showing that their endeavours meet each of the 5
CARES values. 

Students can earn CARES Points in a wide variety of ways, including: 

• Excellent attendance
• Being punctual to lessons
• Academic achievement
• High engagement in learning
• Exemplary classwork
• Showing effort above and beyond expectation
• Outstanding and timely homework

• Taking part in extra curricular activities
• Helping at events
• Community Projects
• Looking after the environment
• Helping others and building a welcoming community
