In response to high demand, we are pleased to announce additional seats are now available. Please reserve your place as soon as possible.
Dear Year 6's, Parents and Carers
Please see below a list of Open events scheduled which provide you with an opportunity to visit our Secondary school, meet some of our students, teachers and receive a presentation from Mr Hand, the Headteacher.
We are delighted to be offering these events to our local community, but will be limiting numbers on our school site by requiring all our visitors to book a place in advance.
We have three different types of events, make sure you book a place on the right one for you.
Open Mornings - An opportunity to visit the school during the course of the normal school day, you will be guided in a small group by one of our students, and will be able to attend a presentation by Mr Hand the Headteacher.

Open Evening - An opportunity to visit our school at the end of the school day. A number of students will be available to guide you around our school and act as subject ambassadors. You will have the opportunity to talk with our teachers and professional support staff, and will be able to attend a presentation by Mr Hand the Headteacher.

An online virtual presentation by the Headteacher, Niall Hand will also be available on Thursday 18 September 18:00 to 19:00. Please do not come to the school site. An opportunity to meet Mr Hand, the Headteacher of Prendergast Ladywell School as part of the Year 6/7 transition process.
Mr Hand will give a brief presentation followed by a section of Q&A, where he will answer any questions you have about Prendergast Ladywell School, and the process of transition between Primary School and Secondary School.

In-year admissions to Prendergast Ladywell School are now open. We welcome applications from families interested in joining our school community.
Please note that all year groups are typically fully subscribed, although spaces do come available from time to time. Where a year group is fully subscribed, any new applicants will be placed on the relevant waiting list.
You can apply by completing an in-year application form, available on this website. To ensure your application can be processed, please provide all requested supporting documents, making sure they are current.

Admission to Prendergast Primary School (Reception* - Year 6)
Please read the admissions information carefully. Our Admissions Policy 2025-26 is available to view on our School Policies webpage.
*For in-year admissions to Reception and Year 7, the starting school/secondary transfer planned rounds apply until 31 December each year. This school participates in the pan London Admissions Scheme and all applications for entry to Reception and Year 7 in the planned round must go via your local authority until the end of December of the year of entry. From the start of term in January each year, our standard in-year admissions procedure applies to in-year applications to Reception and Year 7 and you must apply direct to Prendergast Primary School/Prendergast Ladywell School from January onwards.
