Parent Governor Election Reminder - Deadline for return of ballot forms is Thursday 22 October

Dear Parents / Carers

Thank you for your interest and the ballot papers received so far for the Parent Governor election for the two roles on the Leathersellers' Federation Governing Board.

We are aware that due to challenges with the local post, some ballot papers are yet to arrive even though they were sent out first class a week ago by our mail-out provider.

We want to ensure that we receive as many votes as possible, and so in order to address this:

• Any parent who has not yet received a ballot form can email the Clerk to Governors, who is the Returning Officer for the election, by 8 October at to request a ballot paper. These will be sent out first class and marked as 'duplicate' to ensure a fair process.

• We will delay the parent governor election count to the week of the 19 October in order to allow for ballot papers to be returned by post.

• The deadline for returning ballots will be moved to 22 October, with the count to be held on 23 October, in order to allow as much time as possible for ballot papers to be returned by post.
