July 2021: Interview - Ms Anne-Marie Dias Borges

PLS BBC Young Reporters interviewed BBC Business Africa Senior Broadcast Journalist and one of the 100 Most Influential African Women 2020, Anne-Marie Dias Borges. They have learned many things about the importance of speaking languages and how to get into the media industry. We thank Ms. Dias Borges for her time and looking forward to welcoming her to our school in the next academic year.

May 2021: Interview - Mr Huw Edwards, BBC Reporter

On 18 May, a group of our Year 11 EAL students had the fantastic opportunity to interview Mr Huw Edwards from BBC news as part of World Press Freedom Day. Prendergast BBC School Reporters welcomed BBC 10 O'clock News Presenter, Huw Edwards. Mr. Edwards ran a 'How to gather News' workshop and discussed about the importance of distinguishing fake news from the real news. Afterwards, BBC School Reporters interviewed Mr. Edwards. Watch here
